Track and Field Day will take place on Wednesday, May 22 (rain date: Friday, May 24). Many volunteers are needed to make this event a success.

Five teachers, administrators, and specialists have officially announced that they are retiring. Students and parents are encouraged to submit well wishes and words to say goodbye.

Keep your kids active this spring and during the summer. Active Solutions offers many classes and day camps to get kids moving.

Families are invited to attend the upcoming Area C Meeting on Thursday, May 23, from 6 pm to 8 pm at Barton Open School.

On May 21 please join our 5th graders at 6:30 p.m. for their evening Spring Singing Concert in the Burroughs auditorium.

The 4th graders will perfrom afterwards from 7:15-7:45.  All singers please wear white tops and black bottoms

The Burroughs all-school picnic will be held this Thursday, May 9, from 5:30 to 7:30 pm.

Parents, please be mindful that all students are expected to dress in a modest fashion at school, with no bare midriffs, no strappy tank tops (the width of the straps should be the length of your child’s baby finger) or short shorts or short skirts. Students are not allowed to wear hats and, for the safety of the students, especially on the stairs and at recess, flip-flop type shoes are not allowed.
