Where:  Lake Harriet

Permission Slip

Hello families:
Weather permitting; our plan is to bicycle to Lake Harriet Band Shell or beach areas with Mr. Peterson and parent volunteers to meet Mr. Hill at Lake Harriet. Mr. Hill will have the kayaks and canoes waiting for us at the lake (come to gym first to confirm launch location). We will fish off the fishing dock or along the beach as students take turns kayaking. We will be using casting rods with barbless hooks, which we will supply. We have everything we need with the exception of parent volunteers. We would like volunteers to help us keep an eye on students and assist them as necessary. Remember, we still need your help if the weather is cold, wet and miserable; we're teaching our Burroughs students to be Go-Getters in this great State of Minnesota.
