Destination Imagination is an international program, the purpose of which is to inspire and equip students to become the next generation of innovators and leaders.  Each year, teams compete within one of six challenge categories that enable students to learn and experience the creative process from imagination to innovation, presenting their solutions to trained appraisers.

This year, three teams of Burroughs students competed at the North Regional Tournament.  One of the Burroughs teams (called "The Burroughs Out of Season Santas a.k.a. The B.O.S.S.") won first place to become the 2015 Regional Champions in their category! The team of 4th graders includes:  Marcus W., Avery R., Erik W., Nora S., Reece W., Xander K. and Ellery D.  The team advanced to the State Tournament. The team was extremely competitive and their excellent performance brought them very high State-wide standings.
