Destination Imagination
Sunday, October 07, 2012 9:45 PM

Parents and students are invited to a Destination Imagination informational meeting tonight, October 9, at 5:30 pm. Destination Imagination is an after-school enrichment program where teams of 5-7 students develop answers to challenges about diverse topics incorporating STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics), the arts, and service learning. Students then compete against their peers. Participants learn patience, flexibility, persistence, ethics, respect for others and their ideas, and the collaborative problem-solving process. We are looking for student participants from all grades as well as parents to volunteer as team managers. For more information visit www.DestinationImagination.org or contact DI Chair Bhargavi Ghate.
