Help Get the Burroughs Destination Imagination Teams Off the Ground
Tuesday, September 22, 2015 12:15 PM

Become a Destination Imagination Team Manager for up to seven students (K-5th).

Destination Imagination (DI) Challenges help students learn and experience the creative process from imagination to innovation, teaching important life skills like time management, collaboration, conflict resolution, and creative and critical thinking. DI teams solve open-ended challenges and present their solutions at a tournament towards the end of March.

We need parent volunteers with enthusiasm for creative intellectual collaboration. (Skills in  science, math, human relations, and creative problem solving are encouraged, but not required.) We can only take as many students as we have mentors.

Teams meet before or after school, once a week throughout the school year.

Want to get even more involved? Chair this group in the 2016-17 school year.

Email Bhargavi Ghate with interest.
