Please join us on Friday, May 12 at 9:30 am to celebrate Principal Cadotte as we rename the Burroughs auditorium in his honor. A brief program in the gym will be followed by a reception in the atrium.
Show your appreciation for your child's teacher with breakfast! The Burroughs PTA is seeking volunteers to provide breakfast items for the Teacher & Staff Appreciation Breakfast on Friday, May 19 at 8 am.

The Burroughs Auction committee is looking for a co-chair for the 2017 Fall for Burroughs Auction. A co-chair will work closely with the auction chair, Catherine Lipinsky, and learn the inner workings of the auction, one of Burroughs's biggest fundraisers. This year's Fall for Burroughs Auction and the related Great Gatherings offered throughout the year are expected to raise nearly $80,000 for Burroughs by the end of the school year!
If you are interested in a volunteer position that will significantly impact your child's school, please consider being the auction co-chair. This is a 2-year-commitment: the auction co-chair will roll into the position of auction chair for the following year. Most of the time commitment is during the months of September, October, and November—we achieve major results in a short period of time! Please email Catherine Lipinsky for more information.
We had another great Box Tops week with $54.80 collected as of April 14! Mrs. Lasser's class is in the lead with 119 Box Tops.
Please send in your carefully clipped tops (with code and expiration visible) with your child, and watch the earnings rain down on the bulletin board in the atrium. Because of spring break, the April contest is a short one and runs through April 28.
