Interested in Serving on Site Council?

Applications are due April 22.

The Burroughs Site Council is a group composed of parents, staff, and an at-large community representative. The Site Council deals with and gives input on issues related to school operation. These issues may include, but are not limited to, issues relating to the school's mission/vision, budget, facility, staffing, curriculum, parent input, and future direction for the school. Site Council meets monthly (typically the last Tuesday of the month) from 5 to 7 pm. Meetings begin in September.

Parent representative positions are two-year terms. Members are selected by a voting process in which Burroughs families vote on a slate of biographies submitted by parents seeking a role on Site Council.

If you are interested in serving on Site Council, please e-mail Amy Marquardt by Friday, April 22. The e-mail should include: the grade of your child/children at Burroughs, a summary of relevant experience, personal strengths you bring to any working team, and positive change you hope to influence.
