Note from the Principal
Tuesday, March 27, 2018 10:50 AM

Dear Families,

Happy Spring! Last week sure ended on a fun note. It was great to see so many families and hear the enthusiasm of the students when the number of minutes read was unveiled. Wow, as a school we read 2,740,195 minutes and raised $87,255! The 2018 Burroughs Read-a-Thon was again a successful community building and fundraising event! Thank you to all! The week ahead brings more excitement as classrooms celebrate their reading accomplishments.

The year is flying by! Between Read-a-Thon celebrations and the anticipation of spring break, student energy has been high. We will all benefit from the upcoming break and my hope is that when we come back on April 9, we are ready to end the school year strong.

This evening we have a PTA meeting at 6:30 pm. At this meeting I will be sharing our 2018-19 budget decisions. If you have not had the chance to attend a PTA meeting this year, please consider joining us tonight.

I wish you all a safe and enjoyable spring break! Look for my next note in April. Please make sure to check out the announcements and important dates below. As always, feel free to reach out to me with any questions that may arise.
Sincerely,
Ana Bartl
