Dear Families,

As the cold winter temperatures settle in, we have a few fun filled weeks ahead as we launch into the second half of the school year. This week kicks off the Read-a-Thon and 'I Love to Read' month with our ever popular Opening Ceremony (due to school closings, please stay tuned for details on rescheduling of the Opening Ceremony).Thank you to all who have been involved in the planning and coordination of this year's Read-a-Thon! February is sure to be a wonderful month of reading!

February is also Black History month. Talk to your children about what they are learning and doing in their classrooms in celebration of this important part of our history. On Monday, February 11, we will celebrate National African American Parent Involvement Day as a part of this month. See below for more details about this day.

Please make sure to check out the announcements and important dates below. As always, feel free to reach out to me with any questions that may arise.

Sincerely,
Ana Bartl
Principal
