Read-a-Thon Reminders and Requests for 5th-Grade Families
Tuesday, January 16, 2018 8:50 AM

The Read-a-Thon skit rehearsals and crew workshops have begun and are going smoothly. But the Opening Ceremony on January 31 will be here before we know it, and we need your help to make it great!
A few reminders
Please have your children bring a snack for themselves if they are participating in after-school crew or rehearsal.
Please be sure you are on time when picking up your child from crew or rehearsal. The volunteer parents must stay with all kids until they are picked up. We appreciate your cooperation!
Volunteer Needs
Set Builders and Props: We need volunteers to help with crew workshop. There have been lots of kids coming to help build, and we don't have enough parents to manage everyone. Sign up here and come help!
Run Crew: We need a person to help manage the Run Crew kids (kids moving sets during the show). You would be needed at a few rehearsals starting the week of January 23 through the Opening Ceremony performance on January 31. The job would entail making sure the Run Crew kids know their cues and helping them run the scene changes smoothly.

A/V: We need help setting up the A/V equipment at the dress rehearsal and opening ceremony. If you are free to help set up mics, etc., at the Tuesday dress rehearsal (Jan. 30, 9 am) and the Opening Ceremony (Jan. 31), please email Megan O'Meara.
