Request a Kit Now for the Annual Kindergarten Giving Project
Tuesday, May 23, 2017 7:45 AM

In May, the Kindergarten classes will hold their Annual Giving Project. For the past two years the classes have partnered with Sew Good Goods, a local nonprofit, to provide kits for families to sew new handmade pillowcase and baby blankets. Once sewn, these are given as part of the Giving Project to a local shelter. In an effort to increase our donations this year, families can now start requesting kits.

Each kit contains all the materials for two items (either 2 pillowcases or 2 baby blankets) and easy-to follow directions. To request a kit, please email Sew Good Goods at sewgoodgoods@gmail.com with your student's name, room number, and the number of pillow or baby blanket kits. It's recommended you request no more then two kits at a time. Once completed you can always request more kits; there is no limit on how many.

The kit will be delivered to your child's homeroom within a week of the request. When you are completed with the project, please send them back to school with your child and have them drop them off in Ms. Wold's classroom.

Email Sew Good Goods with any questions. We look forward to increasing our donations this year.
