Monday, November 19, 2012 10:45 AM

The 2012 Fall for Burroughs Silent Auction was an enormous success! 360 parents, staff, and friends of Burroughs attended, and we raised more than $57,000 for the Burroughs Endowment Fund.

Thank you to everyone who helped create such a wonderful event:
·               the many families who so generously donated wine, auction items, classroom basket items, and fantastic
                Great Gatherings;
·               the neighborhood businesses that supported Burroughs with their donations;
·               our wonderful teachers and staff members who donated “priceless” art, adventures, and outings;
·               Alix Kendall for acting as the Master of Ceremonies;
·               Mr. Hofmann and our DJs, Michelle and Kevin Lian-Anderson, for the fantastic music at the event;
·               the Burroughs kids who contributed to, and the parents who consulted on, the Fund-a-Need video;
·               CityKid Java for donating the delicious coffee;
·               Greg and Jen Bastian and Angie’s Kettle Corn for the yummy late night snacks;
·               Grafix Shoppe for the fantastic banners at the school;
·               Meredith Johnson and Sarah Graff and Write Away for the lovely wine tags;
·               all of our runners, closers, spotters, and other volunteers that helped at the auction;
·               the Auction Committee for all of their dedication and hard work, with a special thank you to
                Amy Hasbargen and Beth Gyllstrom for their incredible organization and leadership; and
·               everyone who attended the Auction!
Thank you for a fun night of community-building while helping such an important cause. The generosity of the Burroughs community is truly remarkable.
