The Read-a-Thon Is Almost Here!
Tuesday, January 22, 2019 10:15 AM

February is Read-a-Thon month, the PTA's largest fundraiser! The Read-a-Thon kicks off with an Opening Ceremony on January 30 when the annual book theme is revealed. Students collect pledges based on how many minutes they will read during the month. At the end of the month, the school celebrates with a special skit, student prizes, and classroom parties. Thank you to the dozens of volunteers who filled all of our current needs - stay tuned as others may arise! Please contact Jen Thorp, Read-a-Thon Chair, with questions.

Book Collection for Book Swap

Over 30 bags and boxes of books have been collected for the book swap!  If your child has books they've outgrown, please drop them in the collection bin in the atrium, or at 4908 Harriet Ave (Lara Tickle's house).  ***New York Times bestsellers are now being collected so parents can pick up a new-to-them book too!*** Books are being collected through January 30.
