District Parent Advisory Council (DPAC)

Minneapolis Public Schools are currently divided into three areas: Area A in north and northeast Minneapolis, Area B in the south and southeast and Area C in the south and southwest. Burroughs is an Area C school. The Area C Council holds monthly meetings to discuss issues of importance to parents in this section of the city. The Area C Superintendent, as well as other district personnel, is usually in attendance.

DPAC provides two-way information between parents and the School District. Explanations of work being done are available on this page.

A Parent Budget Advisory Committee is analyzing the current budget and giving parent feedback to the District and the School Board.
