For over 20 years at Burroughs, the PTA sponsors a Read-a-thon to promote a lifelong love of reading and raise funds for the Burroughs Community School. The Read-a-thon occurs throughout the month of February where everyone in the school; teachers, staff and students engage in a reading extravaganza and closes with a school celebration in the Spring.
