MPS Advanced Learner Information Session Thursday
Tuesday, May 7, 2019 9:25 AM

Has your student been identified as an advanced learner? Are you wondering what that means for your student, and what your next steps should be? Attend the information session on the MPS Advanced Learner Program and Services on Thursday, May 9, from 6:30 to 8 pm in the Davis Center's Assembly Room.

During the information session, parents will have the opportunity to learn more about the K-12 MPS Level 3 and 4 services. Come out and hear about how to support your advanced learner in the classroom and at home. Additions to the program for 2019-20, and subject and grade acceleration options will also be discussed.

This event is co-hosted by the MPS Talent Development Department, and MCGT Minneapolis - PAALs (the Minneapolis chapter of the MN Council for the Gifted and Talented - Parents Advocating for Advanced Learners).

Update: Childcare will be available for ages 4 and up.  Translators will be available for Spanish, Somali, and Hmong.

If you have questions, or would like more information, contact the program on the website, through email, or on Facebook (mcgtminneapolis).
