Note from the Principal
Tuesday, March 19, 2019 10:30 AM

Dear Families,

What a week we had last week! After all of the snow, ice, and rain, I hope everyone is enjoying the slightly warmer and calmer weather. Hopefully many of you escaped any damage caused by ice dams or flooded basements.

It was great to see so many of you last Tuesday at our "How to Talk to Your Kids about Race" event. Thank you to our PTA and Families for Equity and Justice for coordinating another successful event. It was a wonderful learning opportunity that inspired great conversations!

We have an exciting week ahead with the Read-a-Thon closing ceremony on Wednesday at 9:30 am. Please join us if you can for this time-honored Burroughs tradition that will surely not disappoint!

With seven days left in the third quarter, this is the time of year when we begin making plans for the next school year. As plans unfold, we will be sure to keep families updated.

Please make sure to check out the announcements and important dates in the Bulletin. And, as always, feel free to reach out to me with any questions that may arise.

Sincerely,
Ana Bartl
Principal
