Note from the Principal

Dear Families,

Last week was a fun-filled week of Wellness Trivia, Bike and Walk to School Day, Biz Town campaigning, Teacher and Health Services Appreciation Week, and the Burroughs Family Twins game on Saturday. Thank you to all who supported these events throughout the week!

The end of year fun continues this week, beginning with Kindergarten Registration on Tuesday, our Volunteer Appreciation Celebration on Wednesday, the 3rd grade Spring concert and 4th grade Parade of States on Thursday, and the PTA Staff Appreciation breakfast on Friday. It is a busy time of year and all of these events will make these last few weeks of school fly by in a blink.

Next week is also our final week of spring testing. Our students have put a lot of effort over the last few weeks into showing what they know as they have engaged in MCA and FAST testing. Although standardized tests are not our only measure of student progress, they do give us important information about our students that helps us to reflect upon our instructional practices and plan for the upcoming school year.

As always, feel free to reach out to me with any questions that may arise and I look forward to seeing many families at the events of the upcoming weeks.
Sincerely,
Ana Bartl
Principal
