Dear Families,
I hope everyone had a safe and enjoyable Memorial Day weekend!  We are in the home stretch, with only nine school days left for the year.
Thank you all for your flexibility and support as we tried to navigate the weather and it's impact on our annual and beloved Field Day event last week!  We have all had to exercise our ability to be flexible and creative this year due to the crazy weather and last week was no exception.  I know our students, staff and families were very disappointed by the cancellation of Field Day.  A shout out to our amazing PE teachers and Field Day volunteers, who put a lot of time and effort into preparing and monitoring the weather and field conditions each day!  Despite the disappointment, everyone remained positive and students made the best of the situation by going all out for "backwards, wacky hair, and pajama day" on Friday!
The next nine days are jam packed with exciting end of the year events, including Biz Town for our 5th graders and the 3rd grade camping trip to Voyageur Environmental Center.  These events among others are wonderful ways to celebrate the end of another school year and create cherished memories for our students, staff and families.
Please make sure to check out the announcements and important dates below.  As always, feel free to reach out to me with any questions that may arise.  I look forward to seeing many families at the events of the upcoming weeks.
