Note from the Principal

Dear Families,

The end of another school year is here, and what a year it has been! We definitely had to exercise our creativity and adaptability this year as we navigated through a winter season that caused havoc to our schedule and seemed to last forever. I thank you all for your support and encouragement of our students and staff throughout this year.

We are so grateful for all of the time and energy that so many of our families volunteered. From the Auction and Read-A-Thon to the classroom, lunchroom, and everywhere in between, we rely on dedicated volunteers for fundraising, engagement, and enrichment opportunities every day. We truly would not be the school that we are without you. If you haven't had the opportunity to volunteer at Burroughs yet, we invite you to do so in the fall. More information about volunteering can be found on the Burroughs website and on our SignUpGenius page

As this year draws to a close, we say goodbye to our fifth-grade students and a few staff members. We will miss them all and wish them well as they continue on their life journeys, whether it be on to middle school, or on to retirement. In addition to saying goodbye, we are also welcoming new kindergarten families and new staff members. I am confident that through these transitions we will all discover new and exciting opportunities to learn and grow.

I continue to learn so much each year, and I am honored for the opportunity to get to know Burroughs students, families, and staff on a deeper level as each year passes. I look forward to our continued work together next year and wish you all an amazing summer! Thank you for sharing your beautiful children with us every day!

Sincerely,
Ana Bartl
Principal
