Note from the Principal

Dear Families,
I can hardly believe that it is mid-October and our first snowflakes have fallen! We had a lovely week last week.  Our 3rd graders had their Minneapolis and Mill City tours and our 5th graders participated in a Kindness retreat by Youth Frontiers. These experiences are just a few of the enriching opportunities that we hope students remember as meaningful, and that support their development not only as learners but as citizens.
With this being a short week, I will be brief. I hope that parent/teacher conferences will yield valuable conversations about your children and their progress here at school. We know that engagement and a feeling of connectedness to school play an important role in a child's progress. Strong family-school partnerships support this. We are all in this together!
I wish everyone a wonderful and safe long weekend. I hope you are able to get out and enjoy the fall weather and a little extra family time.
Please feel free to reach out by phone, email, or in person, with any questions that may arise.
