Dear Families,

What a wonderful turnout at the American Swedish Institute on Friday evening! Thank you to all who attended the auction!  I hope you had an enjoyable evening.  Also, thank you to our PTA Auction Committee who put so much time and effort into making this a fun and successful event.  Again and again I am in awe of the support our families and community provide for our students and staff.  Without you, so many of the experiences we provide for our students simply would not be possible.

The 2nd Quarter is off to a great start!  We kicked off our annual tour season last week and will continue our school tours weekly through January.  Tour season at Burroughs has become one of my favorite parts of the year.  With every tour I give, I am reminded of what a unique and special community Burroughs is.  I love having the opportunity to share this with families who are in the beginning stages of deciding where their child will go to elementary school.  If you know families who will have incoming kindergarteners and are looking for a great school, please encourage them to schedule a tour.

Remember, report cards will be sent home with students the week of November 13. Once you receive reports cards, if you have questions please reach out to your child's teacher.

Have a wonderful week and please feel free to reach out with any questions that may arise.

Sincerely,

Ana Bartl
