Read-a-Thon Needs Help from 5th-Grade Families
Tuesday, January 9, 2018 9:10 AM

Attention fifth-grade families: The Read-a-Thon skit rehearsals and crew workshops begin this week with the Opening Ceremony just a few weeks away on Wednesday, January 31!  We cannot put on the Read-a-Thon skit without your help. Please plan to volunteer to help with at least one of the following so the skit can be a good experience for all:
  • Sign up here to help with rehearsals or crew workshops. We especially need people the first week back at school!
  • We need a volunteer to manage costumes ASAP! This volunteer will help the students assemble costumes (mostly from their own supplies at home)--no sewing required, unless you want to. Email Nicole Hinrichs if you are able to help. We are especially in need of an octopus costume. If anyone can lend us one, please let Nicole know.
  • We need an adult to manage the kids moving sets during the show. This volunteer would attend some rehearsals for Opening and Closing Ceremony and make sure set movers know their cues and where to move items. Questions? Email Megan O'Meara.
