Read-a-Thon Skit Needs Your Help!
Tuesday, January 23, 2018 8:40 AM

The Read-a-Thon skit is almost here! The actors and crew are hard at work rehearsing and building the sets and props for the show. We need some help--please see below!

We are still in need of volunteers for the final stretch of the Opening Ceremony--in particular we need parents to help load in risers and chairs the evening of January 30th at 6 pm. Sign up HERE for rehearsals, crew workshops, and load-in.

We are looking to borrow the following costume and prop items for the Read-a-Thon skit. If you have any of these items let us know!

Costumes (fifth grader size) Email Megan O'Meara
  • 2 dragon costumes
  • 1 snake costume
  • 2-3 princess/queen dresses--open to style here
  • Jester costume
  • Wizard costume/cape (we have hat)
  • Four black bow ties (clip ons would be great)
  • Face paint-various colors (this would be a donation)
  • Brown pants and long sleeve brown shirts--5 sets
  • Folding card table/lightweight table (will be a kitchen table)
  • Lightweight chairs for table (2-3 needed)
  • Bubble machine
  • Very large cardboard box (it will be made into an oven)
  • Tall, sturdy cardboard box (it will hold up a flat castle set piece)
