Reminders for Read-a-Thon Cast & Crew
Tuesday, January 9, 2018 9:00 AM

If your child is participating in the Read-a-Thon skit as an actor, a set mover, or attending the crew workshops, you must fill out and return the information form they brought home before break. This shows that you give permission for them participate and ensures we have correct contact info for you for communication regarding the skit. Return it to their fifth-grade teacher or email it to Megan O'Meara ASAP.
Crew workshops (building the sets and props for the skit) begin this week. Fifth graders and parent volunteers should meet in the art room from 3:40 pm to 5 pm. See the rehearsal/crew schedule for all crew workshop dates.
We need fifth graders to help move sets during the Opening and Closing Ceremony skits. This is different than the crew workshops where sets are being built. These are open to anyone. If your child is interested in moving sets during the show, email Megan O'Meara by Friday, January 12 or attend one of the crew building workshops to sign up in person by January 12. We'll need kids for both the Opening and Closing ceremonies (they'll be assigned once we see what interest is like), and rehearsals for set movers will start January 22 for the Opening Ceremony and March 14 for the Closing Ceremonies.
Questions? Email Megan O'Meara.
